| Bio | Bill Skowron, nicknamed "Moose" Skowron won 5 World Series Championships during his 14 year career, including 4 with the New York Yankees in 1956, 1958, 1961 and 1962, and 1 with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1963. An All-Star first baseman with the Yankees, Moose played in 5 consecutive All-Star games as a member of the New York Yankees from 1957-1961. In 1965, he played in his 6th All-Star game. This time as a member of the Chicago White Sox. Bill Skowron also played for the Washington Senators and retired in 1967 as a member of the California Angels. A lifetime .282 hitter, Moose Skowron belted 211 homeruns and 888 RBI's during his career. Moose played in a total of 8 different World Series, winning 5 rings.
